Glucosamine
Glucosamine is made by the organism from glucose and from glutamine, an amino acid. It also comes from the hydrolysis of the glycosaminoglycans (GAGs). A sufficient provision of glucosamine stimulates the natural synthesis of the GAGs by the fibroblasts of the dermis.
Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs)
Natural hydrocaptors contained in the dermis and brought into the body through nutrition. Working like micro-sponges, they enable the skin to regenerate on a daily basis and maintain an optimal level of hydration. Hyaluronic acid is the most well-known one amongst these.
