From the atmosphere of her well-lit Parisian office, a retrospective of Marie Bejot’s vocation and success. Where does the name Oenobiol come from ?
Oenobiol comes from the Greek, oenos, wine. We have known for a long time that grape seeds contain polyphenols that have anti-oxidizing properties. Furthermore, in ancient times, wine was a form of medicine. It was used as a remedy with the addition of beneficial spices and herbs. Before creating Oenobiol, you were a doctor. Where did you study ? I started my studies in Africa, in Senegal, where I spent my childhood. My father was a doctor there. This African childhood represents a determining factor in the choices I have made. There I learned a taste for simple things and developed a feeling for natural elements. The growing importance of technology tends to drive us away from such things. Is food a determining factor in health and beauty ?
Optimal nutrition has an effect on health and beauty. The philosophy upon which Oenobiol bases its work is that of this global approach.
Oenobiol beauty supplements respond to well-identified nutritional needs of both men and women. some micro-nutrients are lacking in our diet among which I will cite polyunsaturated fatty acids, carotenoids, polyphenols, and certain vitamins and minerals. Oenobiol’s aim is to demonstrate the benefits to beauty of a specific supplementation as well as to offer nutritional information based on consumers needs
Oenobiol beauty supplements are backed by clinical studies and they provide visible results. For example, if we consider sensitive skin, a condition affecting 50% of women, we have recently shown that women who were deficient in omega 3 were benefiting from an omega 3 supplementation in terms of hydration and soothness...
Is Oenobiol a life-style ?
Yes, Oenobiol affers a healthy life through his double approach : beauty supplements and beauty nutrition based on customers needs.
